All flats in 4D are supplied with:

• All built-in lighting must be low-energy - energy-saving bulbs or LED
• Ventilated drying closet - as a supplement to a tumble dryer with heat recovery

This will reduce the electricity consumption for an average family by 1/3.

If the family in addition to that chooses low-energy products (computers, TVs etc.), the consumption will be halved.

Cooking with low electricity consumption

• Town gas reduces the CO₂ outlet by 2/3rds compared to electricity
• Induction exploits 90% of the energy; ordinary ceramic hotplates exploits 60%

• A modern refrigerator uses 50% less energy than 10 years ago.

Laundry with low electricity consumption

A family may use up to 800-1 800 kWh / year on drying 1 wash per day in an ordinary tumble dryer - 20-30% of the electricity consumption

These 3 items can reduce the consumption to 260 kWh / year.

Laundry drying with low energy consumption

1. Efficient spin-drying - 1.800 revs.
2. Tumble dryer with heat recovery - uses 40-50% less energy
3. Ventilated drying closet - uses no energy

- the family uses the tumbler 5 times a week (instead of 7) and the drying closet twice a week.
